Our Story
Peninsula Hanaro Korean School was established in August 2004 to teach Korean language, culture, history, and a variety of Korean traditions. Our school is primarily geared for Korean Americans, but it is open to anyone who is interested in the Korean culture in the Peninsula area. With 40-50 students ranging in age from kindergarten to adult, it is the largest and only non-church affiliated Korean school in the Peninsula area.
OUR FOCUS
- Developing a positive self-esteem as a Korean American through the cooperative efforts of learning Korean language, history, and culture.
- Offering a well-rounded education by providing enrichment classes, such as Origami, Calligraphy, Korean traditional games, Drawing, and Drama.
- Strengthening students by actively involving them in the amin stream of society by sharing Koran virtues and culture through communicty outreach cultural events.

SCHOOL SCHEDULE
Our school year is from September to May and is divided into Fall and Spring semesters.
Classes are held on Saturdays (except holidays) from 9:30am to 12:20pm
